Picture_074Do you know that women are more prone to osteoporosis? Women are more prone to osteoporosis compared to men because they have lower bone mass.

Studies have shown that after 50 years old, women have almost a one-in-two chance of suffering an osteoporosis-related fracture in their lifetime. This is largely due to the fast declining estrogen levels in menopausal women that can trigger rapid bone loss which can set the stage for a fracture.

The only way to conquer osteoporosis is by learning more about it and working with your doctor to treat it.
